Shipping Policy


Your order is being shipped from Brendale, Queensland, 4509

All orders are shipped within 3-5 business days of receiving your order.  During specific events/holidays orders can take up to 7 business days to dispatch.

Courier/Postage Companies Used for Standard and Express Post

Many of our parcels require manual handling which is not always suitable for Australia Post processing.  As such we mostly use several preferred couriers and Australia Post only where necessary.

If you insist that your parcel be shipped with Australia Post, please let us know at the time of placing your order but we will not be liable for any damage incurred in transit.

If no-one is at home when delivery is attempted, you should receive a 'calling card' explaining either where to collect your parcel or how to arrange redelivery.

If no-one will be at home during the day, you might consider having the order shipped to a work address.

Authority to Leave - you can also leave special instructions (in the Message Box during Checkout) for the order to be left in a safe location should you not be at home. Please note, however, that by doing so you take responsibility should the order go missing after it is delivered.

 

If you require your order by a specific date, please highlight this to us when you place your order so that we can get you an accurate shipping fee for getting the order to you by that date.

We suggest shipping to an air conditioned destination so that heat-sensitive products are not adversely affected by air temperatures. O Canada does not accept responsibility for the quality of products on arrival especially when authority to leave is chosen for the delivery. 

While our shipping costs are normally accurate, we do reserve the right to advise of extra shipping costs that occur based on orders that require multiple shipments, specifically chosen couriers, excessive weight or volume charges.

Delivery Times- Standard Post

Delivery times vary based on your location. This is a general guideline only for capital cities:

Brisbane/Sydney: 2-4 Business days 

Canberra/Melbourne: 3-7 Business days

Adelaide: 4-7 Business days

Perth: 6-14 Business days

Hobart: 7-10 Business days

Darwin: 7-10 Business days

Please remember that it can take up to 5 business days before we ship (7 days on new shipment launches) so those delivery times start after the parcel has been packed (not from the moment of being ordered). Again, if you require your order by a specific date, please let us know.

International orders should arrive between 5 -10 weeks after the order has been shipped, but we cannot guarantee this.

Please note that we cannot be responsible for delays in shipping caused by situations out of our control such as Customs delays and other government inspections.

International Orders

The amount billed for shipping on your invoice is an estimate (which is usually correct). Should the final shipping cost be more than estimated, we will notify you before shipping; should it be less, we will most happily refund the difference to you.

Your Country's Custom Regulations

All packages are subject to random checks by Customs officials of all countries. While this may cause a delay in the arrival of the shipment, we cannot be held responsible for any delays as a result of this.

Since import regulations vary for each country, please consult your Customs office before placing your order. Your order must conform to the regulations of the destination country.

 

Refund Policy

Best Before Dates 

Due to the variations in the length of shipping times, we cannot guarantee arrival before the Best Before date. We do not stock any products that have “expiry” or “use by” dates. For more information regarding the differences between “best before” dates and “expiry”/”use by” dates, please click here.  

We will not refund any products sold past the "Best By" date unless it was misrepresented on our website or the product is deemed not consumable. 

Undeliverable Orders - Return to Sender

If an order is returned to us because the recipient's address was incorrect or the package was unclaimed, we will resend the package, once we receive the correct address, and recharge the shipping fee. If the error was ours, we will reship at no additional cost.  If client cancels order we will refund the product costs paid only minus a restocking fee of 25% of the value of the products ordered (non-negotiable). Please not, products that are returned back to us AFTER the best before date will NOT receive any refund value. No shipping fees will be refunded at all and no exceptions will be made.

Orders containing glass - damaged in transit

We package your order with the utmost care and regret that we cannot be held responsible for products getting damaged during shipping.

All products shipped in glass containers are wrapped in bubble wrap and packed securely. For larger orders, we may opt to ship glass items separately and an additional shipping charge may apply (of which we will notify you).

Australia Post does not insure or guarantee shipments of glass or ceramics so we will not replace items that are broken in Australia Post shipments.

Orders containing chips / bags - damaged in transit

Many of the chip bags that are received from overseas during transport will experience a fluctuation in the amount of air that remains in the bag. We cannot guarantee that any or all bags will remain inflated to the same degree. However, we do perform a pressure test during the picking and packing stage to ensure that the bag(s) haven't popped resulting in loss of air. 

We meticulously take special care in packing all products and orders. Products in bags are packed to allow for shifting and cartons are reinforced with additional packing materials to protect the products so they arrive undamaged.

Once the parcel is in the courier network we are NOT responsible for any products contained within the parcel that are in bags that have popped during transport. Furthermore, any products that are received dented, scuffed, bent, or torn / ripped are considered as a result of the mechanical sorting and handling processes during shipping. We cannot be held responsible for any such damage once the parcel has been dispatched. Our staff may exercise discretion in sending a replacement product or providing a store credit in rare instances; however, no refunds will be granted.

Cancellation of an order

Your order may be cancelled at any time prior to shipping and you will receive a full refund. If, however, the item was packed and awaiting shipment, we will charge a restocking fee of 25% of the value of the order. Any applied credits, concession pricing, original voucher codes or issued gift cards may be forfeited.
